If there was ever a female artist who had a way with words and lyrics, it had to be Lauryn Hill. Her words were always uplifting and inspiring. She really wrote some great music when she was more popular during the 90’s. Unlike other female rappers and artists of her time, she wasn’t trying to put up this “bad girl, hardcore, sexual, hood” persona. Even when Lauryn Hill rapped she remained a lady and was very humble in her presence.
The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill produced classic hits that we all still love today, over a decade later. It’s an album that will always remain a classic in my book for years to come.
